Motocross racing started at Royal Mountain in 1984. We are a member of Central New York Motocross Racing Association and AMA District 3.

Our track is a little less than 1 mile and features numerous doubles, triples and tabletops to challenge the novice and expert riders.

Royal was voted “Track of the Year” 9 times by the riders of Central New York Motocross.

The racing surface is hand raked after every motocross and supercross race and we always have a huge pile of screened topsoil on hand to add to the track when needed to guarantee a great racing surface.

The track for the 2024 season has been completely rebuild with new layout and many new features. If you have raced at Royal in the past you will need to check out these changes!

Hundreds of yard of new material, lots of new earthwork equipment for track preparation and soil conditioning.

Overnight camping is always available the night before each event. Gates will open at noon the day before race for camping.

Sign up for the races is 7-9 AM with practice starting at 8:30 AM.
